A beautiful grain structure with a smooth touch is achieved by using a special Jager mineral tanning process. The leather is fully aniline dyed to produce a beautiful solid colour. Oscar is a slightly polished semi-aniline leather. This preserves all of the beauty of the natural grain of the hide. For this special leather, Jager uses only the very best hides with a minimum of natural marks such as insect bites and scratches
The environmentally friendly protective finish is formulated with special pigments that possess very high light fastness. Furthermore rubbing- and flex testing show that Oscar is significantly better than other competitive leathers.
